Jamia Masjid Matiari

Jamia Masjid Matiari is the Oldest Masjid of Matiari.It is near about 500 Years Old.
The graet Saints (Wali ullah) of the Sindh Sayed Shah Abdul Kareem Bulri Waro and Shah Abdul lateef Bhittai passed a considerable time in the pray at here.Untill today there is a portion in the Masjid where Shah Abdul Lateef Bhitai passed a long time in pray,which is popular behind his name.It is fact that,if any Muslim prays here and begs any Right Demand from the Allah,it is confirmly accepted and granted.It is also said that,Shah Abdul lateef Bhittai shown Kabatullah Shareef from a hole in the wall of last “Pishtak” of the masjid, where he and his family used to live.A square stone is fixed at that place on the wall.It is also said that the Dooms Day (Qayamat) will come on the day when PALLO (A unique type of Fish related to River Indus) will be catched from the River Indus, which will be touching that place.

 Shrine of  Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai

 Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai (also referred to by the honorifics Lakhino Latif, Latif Ghot, Bhittai, and Bhitt Jo Shah) (1689 – 1752) was a Sindhi Sufi scholar, mystic, saint, poet, and musician. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest poets of the Sindhi language. His collected poems were assembled in the compilation Shah Jo Risalo, which exists in numerous versions and has been translated to English, Urdu, and other languages. He settled in the town of Bhit Shah in Matiari, Pakistan where his shrine is located. The major themes of his poetry include Unity of God, love for Prophet, religious tolerance and humanistic values.Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai was born in 1689 in Hala Haveli’s village Sui-Qandar located near Hyderabad, Pakistan. Shah Abdul Latif was son of Syed Habibullah and grandson of Syed Abdul Quddus Shah.

 Makhdoom Lutufullah commonly known as Makhdoom Nooh (1500-1590) was a great saint and scholar of Suhurwardia order of Sindh. His mausoleum is located at Hala, 56 kilometers from Hyderabad (Sindh) Pakistan
