District Celebration Day 2007

In 2007, a district celebration day was organized under the leadership of Dr. Muhammad Usman Chachar, the inaugural District Coordination Officer of Matiari. The official ceremony took place in the auditorium of the Government Boys Degree College in Matiari, attended by all councilors and officials from various departments within the district.

The event commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a Naat and the national anthem of Pakistan. Subsequently, Sayed Muhammad Ali Shah Jamot, the Zila Nazim of Matiari District, cut the cake to commemorate the district’s birthday.

At the request of the esteemed D.C.O, I had the honor of serving as the event’s host.

Students, teachers, and officials showcased their talents through tableaus, folk songs, and traditional dances. This occasion was notable, as no similar event had been held in Matiari before or since.
